William Downs Jr.

William R Downs, Jr. known affectionately to all as Bill, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Friday, September 20, 2024, at the age of 86. 

Bill was a proud veteran of the US Air Force, his life was a testament to the power of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. His impact on the lives of those he touched will always be remembered. He leaves behind fond and loving memories that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.

His journey on earth may have ended, but his spirit will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched with his smile, kindness and generosity. His sweet soul will be dearly missed.

William will be laid to rest on Thursday October 24, 2024 service at 2pm, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W Hoff Road, Elwood, IL 60421
