On Saturday, May 27, our beloved William Busca lost his battle with cancer and passed into eternity.
Bill was born on September 12, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois to Edward and Jacqueline (Jogerst) Busca. He grew up in Chicago's Beverly Neighborhood and graduated from Sutherland Elementary School in 1975 and from Quigley South High School in 1979. He attended Illinois State University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1985.
Bill was an artist, a craftsman, an adventurer, and a Romantic. He was known for his quirky sense of humor, his unique perspectives on life, and his kind and compassionate spirit.
Bill was preceded in death by his mother Jacqueline, his father Edward and his brother Martin. He is survived by his sisters Victoria and Judith (Christopher) Newhall, brothers Andrew and Lawrence (Emily) Franz, nieces Samantha, Grace, Lily and Caroline, nephews William, Joseph, David, Scott (Gabrielle), Andrew and Jeffrey, great nephews Liam and Elliott, and his dear friend Nancy Albright.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home 11028 Southwest Hwy. Palos Hills, IL 60465. A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 PM.
