Ubaldo Perez

Ubaldo Perez Galvez, 72, of Worth, Illinois, peacefully passed away on January 27, 2021, surrounded by his loving wife, children and grandkids after a difficult battle with COVID-19 complications. Ubaldo was born on May 16, 1948 to Jose de Jesus Perez Gutierrez and Ernestina Galvez Cordova in the bustling town of Colotlan, Jalisco, Mexico. In his early 20’s he immigrated to Chicago, Illinois together with his brothers and father in search of work and opportunities. He worked for Brach’s Candy Company for many years and later went in to work for the Worth Schools District 127. On December 26, 1986, he married his wife, Patricia Marquez, in his hometown of Colotlan, and went on to have three children, Denisse, Gabriela and Ubaldo Jr. Ubaldo retired in 2010 after many years of work. While retired, Ubaldo had time to pursue his love of cooking, traveling and visiting family in Mexico and dedicating his time and love to his family and grandchildren. Ubaldo was kind, humble, curious, and funny. He enjoyed the outdoors and learning new things throughout his life. Ubaldo found joy in the most simplest of things and did everything for his family. Ubaldo now joins his parents, Jose de Jesus & Ernestina, his sister, Yolanda & his brother, Manuel in heaven. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, his children, Denisse, Gabriela & Ubaldo Jr., his grandchildren, Yaisel & Arianna, and his siblings, Armida, Dalila, Angel & Columba. Services will not be held at this time.
