Susan Adelle Adams

Susan Adelle Adams, 76, born August 8, 1945, at rest November 11, 2021. Survived by her brother Clifford (Pat) Adams, and her sister Faye Lola (Mike) Schimanski. Kind Aunt to Todd, Molly, Sarah, and Angelina. Caring Great-Aunt to Nick, Lillian, Talia, and Lucy. Loving cousin to Fr. Larry, Mark, Laurie, LuAnne, Claudia, Chris, Greg, Conrad, and Phyllis. Dear friend since childhood with Althea. Greeted in heaven by her parents Art and Sylvia Adams. Sue was a graduate of Mother of Sorrows High School, Blue Island, and UIC, Navy Pier, earning her B.S. in Anthropology. She later pursued a career as a legal secretary in downtown Chicago. Sue was a world traveler, a true lover of nature, an avid reader, and a kind soul to all, always making friends with her neighbors along her daily 5-mile walks. Sue enjoyed and valued her membership at Saint Petronille of Glen Ellyn, attending Mass daily. She was a devout student of Bible Study, and a dedicated volunteer at her local food pantry. Sue's laughter, smile, fun-loving personality, and generous heart will be forever remembered and missed. Graveside service will take place November 26, 2021, at 10:30 a.m., Section 21, Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
