Sharlene M. " Shar" Rossini

Sharlene Marie Rossini (Erdakos) passed away on June 09, 2024. Born to William and Beverly Erdakos on November 18, 1960, she was the sister to 3 younger brothers - Max, Joe, and Jim; beloved wife to John; mother to Christina and Anthony, and cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews.

A graduate of Queen of the Universe Grammar School in 1974 and Lourdes High School in 1978 where she was active in student council, bowled in a league with friends, and befriended many others. Avid sports fan of her Chicago hometown teams, the Cubs and the Blackhawks. 

Shar was known for her big smile, contagious laugh, and willingness to help anyone in need. She touched so many people throughout her life and will always be remembered as someone you can count on when needed.

She loved her children above all else, whether it was taking them to after-school activities, sporting events, or just watching them grow up, she was always there to support her children in everything they did.

The services to honor and celebrate Shar’s life will be held on Thursday June 13, 2024 from 3pm – 8pm at Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 Southwest Hwy, Palos Hills. Funeral Friday, June 14, 2024, 9:30 a.m. from the Funeral Home to Our Lady of the Ridge Catholic Church, 10811 Ridgeland Ave, Chicago Ridge, IL. Mass 11:00 a.m.  Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
