REGINA (VIDA) DUGAN 

Date of Passing: January 22, 2025;  Born on December 22, 1938, in Panevezys, Lithuania. Vida was the eldest child of  Antanas and Augusta Stulpinas. At the age of ten, she immigrated to the United States from Germany with her parents. They settled in the Brighton Park and Bridgeport neighborhoods of Chicago. Vida later became a devoted older sister to the late Anthony (Katherine).  Beloved wife to the late Edward L. Dugan and dear mother to Leo (Susan) Pilipauskas, Judy (Kevin) Gorman-Porlier, Paul (Tami) Pilipauskas, and Diana (Paul) Sturlis. Loving Mima to Kristin Ellis (Nick Kemp), Shannon Gorman (Jake Allen), Steven (Megan) Sturlis, Rebecca Sturlis, Frank (Jacki) Pilipauskas, Kristina (John) Lastovich, Molly (Jeff) Zivkovic, and Nolan Sturlis. Great-Mima to Ronan, Finnian, Aidan, Maeve, Cillian, and Owen, and aunt to Brian Stulpinas (Katie Chew). She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Dolores Schroeder and Shirley Vallet, along with other family members and friends. Vida had a deep interest in antiquing, dedicating her weekends to estate sales and antique malls in search of unique treasures. Alongside Ed, she was an active member of Midwest Soarring, where they contributed their time and skills to preserve the traditions and lands of Native Americans. She was also a former member of the Women of the Moose. Additionally, Vida was an avid reader. In this period of mourning, find solace in knowing that she has been reunited with the love of her life, Ed.

Family and friend will gather for a memorial visitation on Friday, January 31, 2025 9:00 a.m. until time of memorial mass 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Frankfort, IL. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
