Patrick James Fox

Patrick James Fox, beloved by all, passed peacefully while at rest, June 22, 2024. Born to immigrants from Ireland. He was known by many names: Patrick, Pat, Pete, Dad, Papa, PJ, Peter, U.P, Fox. A man of significant personality and few words (albeit wise beyond his years), he knew exactly when to pipe up with either astute insight, or a belly shattering punchline. His timing was always impeccable. From his younger years, a Service Man - Marines, then electrician for the Local 134, City of Palos Hills - Electrical Inspector, and lifelong avid golfer. Throughout the years anyone close to him knew they could find the perfect gift if it related to golf. With a gentle soul, he was able to make fast and long term friendships. There was never a shortage of care and compassion for his family, friends, and dogs. He found his one true love Mary Theresa, God rest her soul, devoting his life to her and their family. Even after her passing, Pat was always keen on spending the remainder of his life surrounded by family. He will forever live in our hearts and minds. Now at peace and in bliss, Mary Theresa and Pete are reunited, a forever love.

He is survived by his sister Susan (Fred) Paolicchi, three children Theresa (John) Klimek, Patrick and Lisa Blair, grandchildren Amanda (Michael), Stephen, Jimmy and AJ, and great grandchildren Aurora and Owen Patrick. Dear brother in law to Marty Ewing, Larry (Marlene) Eisen, Marilyn Vinkler and Maureen (Bob) Fialkowski.

Visitation Wednesday 3-8pm Funeral Thursday 10:15am from the Palos Gaidas Funeral Home to St. Patricia Church for Mass at 11:00am. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Misericordia (6300 N. Ridge Rd Chicago 60660).
