Nijole Juhas

Nijole Lucia Juhas nee Bartasius, age 72, passed into the loving arms of our Father on August 27th, 2022, after a long struggle with Dementia. Beloved wife of the late Ken Juhas, and the late Michael Lass and former wife of Gene Bauza (father of her 4 children). Cherished mother of Marijus (Cindy) Bauza, Jessica (Salvatore) Alletto, Andrea (Jerry) Lavelle and Nicholas. Loving grandmother to Marijus jr, Michael, Amber, Nicole, Andrew, Jacob, Kyle, Alyssa, Nicholas jr, and Ilana. Devoted daughter of the late Bronius & Luida Bartasius; dearest sister of the late Raymond(Vida) Bartasius, and Giedre Pyzik; kind aunt of many nieces and nephew, dear friend to many. Born and raised in Marquette Park where she started her wonderful family and lifelong career as a salon owner, following in her mother's footsteps. After retirement, she proudly handed down her knowledge & loyal clientelle to her granddaughter Amber. Her creativity continued to shine through with her love of artistry and painting natural & vibrant landscapes. Her memory will be cherished & remembered through all of the lives she has touched. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home 11028 Southwest Hwy. Palos Hills, IL 60465. AND Thursday, September 1, 2022 9:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Mass 11:00 a.m. at Nativity B.V.M. Church Interment private.
