Nancy Lee Urban

Nancy Lee Urban, 69 years old . A resident of Oak Lawn, Illinois. Born August 8, 1955. Passed away February 14, 2025 after several serious illnesses. She is survived by her husband George of 50 years. She was the daughter of the late Max and Loretta Kuchan. Nancy's primary career was in the accounting field. Nancy and George enjoyed traveling our country especially visiting all the National Parks, which were very special to her. She is survived by her sister Karen (Jim) Rybak, and her brother Kevin ( Kim) Kuchan. Devoted Aunt of Lisa and Ellie Rybak, Shari (Delio) Leon, David Rybak, Amanda (Tyler) Bogusz, and Kevin (Hannah) Kuchan and many more nieces and nephews. Dear sister- in-law of Sue Urban (the late Ron Georges), Delores (Gene) Schilke, Mike Urban and Paula, Albert (Kathy) Urban. Fond cousin of the late Bob (Cindy) Lembke and the late Rick (Juanita) Hammann. Dear friend of Jerry (Debbie) Krull, Perry (the late Renee) Zataski.  Lifelong friend of Evelyn Heinz and Georgette Hendrickson. Nancy's passion was caring for her many cats through the years, Tommy, Pepper, Wiggers, Fawny, Precious, Kiwi, DW, Penny, Taz, Jasper, and Misty. 

In lieu of flowers please donate to some of Nancy's favorite organizations WWF, the Otter Foundation at Brookfield Zoo, Tiger Heaven. 

 Family and friends will gather for a memorial visitation on Saturday, March 1, 2025, 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 1:00 p.m. at the Palos -Gaidas funeral home 11028 Southwest Highway, Palos Hills, IL 60465.

Interment will be private
