Marilyn E. Perna

Marilyn Elizabeth Perna nee Hoff, age 81, of Chicago Ridge Illinois, passed away on February 7, 2019. Marilyn was born on January 26, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to Lucille E. and John P. Hoff who are deceased.  Marilyn married Joseph L. Perna on October 6, 1956 who is also deceased.  Dear sister of the late John A. (the late Jeanette) Hoff.  Loving mother of Darlene (John) Gecan, Joseph A. Perna and Lisa Perna.  Loving grandmother of Christopher (Michelle Szilagyi) Gecan, Heather Osmolski, Stephanie Perna and the late James (JJ) Osmolski .  Loving great-grandmother of Chistian Osmolski, Angel and Vanessa Tapia and Keilan and Mya Szilagyi. Marilyn was a graduate of St. Rita High School Class of 1951.  She worked as a receptionist at the National Center for Food Safety and Wynright.  Marilyn touched the heart and soul of everyone she met.  She had a great loving personality from serious to comical.  Visitation Friday, February 15, 2019 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 Southwest Hwy, Palos Hills, Illinois.  Funeral Saturday, February 16, 2019 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home to Our Lady of the Ridge Church, 10811 Ridgeland Ave, Chicago Ridge, Illinois for a 10:00 a.m. Mass.  Interment St. Mary Cemetery 87th and Hamlin, Evergreen Park, Illinois.
