Maria De Valdez

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Maria De Valdez Solis, who left this world on February 20, 2025. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished grandmother, and a proud great-grandmother. She was the rock of our family, always providing love, wisdom, and unwavering support to those around her.Maria is survived by her children: Silvia Trejo, Rosa Rodriguez, Adolfo Valdez and Blanca Rodriguez. She was a proud grandmother to 17 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to 34 great-grandchildren. Her love and legacy will live on through each of them.In honor of her life and memory, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flower wreaths, donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, or if you wish to bring flowers, red roses in a vase would be greatly appreciated. Cemetery floral arrangements will not be necessary.Maria will forever remain in our hearts, and we take comfort in knowing she is now at peace.Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 8:00 p.m.  With Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m. at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home 11028 Southwest Hwy.
