Laurentino M. Alvarez “Tino” 77, of Chicago passed away peacefully Monday October 12th in Palos Heights surrounded by family. Beloved son of the late Salvador and Amparo Alvarez. Loving brother of Salvador (Soledad) Alvarez, Margarita (Manuel) Cancino, Rigoberto (the late Angela) Alvarez, Gildardo (Elia and the late Angela) Alvarez, the late Elena (Francisco) Abonce, and Juan (Lourdes) Alvarez. Dearest Uncle to many nieces and nephews here in The United States as well as Mexico. Laurentino was an Army Veteran who proudly served in Vietnam War, he will be deeply missed by family and friends alike. Visitation will take place at The Palos Gaidas Funeral Home 11028 S. Southwest Hwy (7700 W) Palos Hills IL. 60465 on Saturday October 17th from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM with a chapel service to begin promptly at 11:00 AM. Interment private.
