Lois Tarasevic received her wings and was reunited with the love of her life on December 27, 2022. Her beloved husband of 49 Years, Wally went to Heaven in 2018. A piece of her heart left with him, but with her strong faith she knew she would see him again. Lois was a wonderful daughter to the late Mae (Wolowiec) and late Adam Kozak, and sister to the late Edwin Kozak. She was a precious mother to the late Christy Heins and Sherry (Bob) Niedbalec; dearest fun loving gramie to her five amazing blessings Tyler, Jake and Katie Mae Niedbalec and Ashley and Lexi Heins; beloved aunt to Edwin (Marilyn) Kozak, the late Kenneth Kozak, late Donald Kozak and Cheryl (Joe) Ordonez; great aunt to Tim (Tracy) Kozak, Kimberly (Jake) Hunhoff and Dan Kozak. Lois would have been a great-great aunt in March 2023 as Tracy and Tim are expecting identical twin girls; loyal best friend & matron of honor Lynne Carey; confidant, friend, and cousin Joan DeSomer. And her Church Family from St. Louis De Montfort & St. Geralds Parish. She was the light in all our eyes and friends to many. Lois graduated from Kelly High School in 1962. She worked as an Underwriter in Downtown Chicago for Prudential Insurance. But her dream was to get married and have children. She married Wally January 25, 1969 and had her first child, a daughter, Christy in February 1972. Then three years later another daughter, Sherry in November 1975. She was a homemaker from the day she became a Mom until the day God called her Home. Life for Lois was blessed even more when she became a Gramie to her fabulous five grandchildren. Lois was a member of St. Louis De Montfort Women's Auxiliary, Eucharistic Minister, and shared her love with Jesus by attending Daily Mass. Her vivacious giving spirit and servant heart will be missed by many. Dearest mom and gramie. We Love you. For you have blessed our lives forever through your goodness, love and Official strength.
