Karen Kuenn July 1, 2021 Karen L. Kuenn (nee Kaleckas), age 72, beloved wife of the late Neil Kuenn. Devoted mother of Kathleen (Tim) Stoeckel and Kevin Kuenn. Proud grandmother of Timmy and Kaitlyn. Dear sister of Richard (the late Ann) Kaleckas, Lynn (Ken) Setlak, and the late James Kaleckas. Sister-in-law of Barbara (Michael) Hudson and Bob (Julie) Kuenn. Loving aunt of Mike (MerryBeth) Vithoulkas, Brieanna (Tyler) Kelly, James Kaleckas, Anne (John) Gall, Jennifer (Brian) Bollaro, and Jon Hudson. Also remembered by her many wonderful friends and extended family. Will be deeply missed by her eternally loyal and loving dog, Charlie. Karen dedicated two decades of her life to Moraine Valley Community College and proudly administered the GED program. Alumnus of Maria High School, DePaul University, and University of Illinois Graduate School. Proud sister of the Delta Zeta Sorority. Karen loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and activities. She enjoyed relaxing at the beach, going out for a nice meal, and keeping in touch with lifelong friends. Visitation Friday, July 9th 3-8 PM at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 Southwest Hwy., Palos Hills. Funeral Saturday, July 10th, 8:30 AM from funeral home to Sacred Heart Church, 8245 W. 111th St., Palos Hills for 9:30 AM Mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Catholic Charities of Chicago or Midwest Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc.
