Beloved husband of +Socorro Perez. Devoted father of Gerard (Ludivina) Perez, Myrna Contreras (Jerry) Losch, Georgina (Brian) Giblin, and Carol (Michael) Palos. Proud Grandfather of Anthony Contreras, Christian Perez, Daniel Perez, Julian Perez, Michael Palos, Thomas Palos, Robert Palos, Gabriel Palos, Angelina Palos, and Andrea Palos. Loving brother of Gloria, and preceded in death by brother Alfredo, sister Raquel, brother Gilberto, and sister Anita. Kind uncle to many.

Jose was a fun-loving soul with a great sense of humor. He was interested in the arts, and he loved to paint. He also loved music, and he played guitar, sang and was a wonderful ballroom dancer.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 3:00 -8:00 p.m. at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home 11028 Southwest Hwy. Palos Hills, IL 60465. and visitation on Thursday, March 13, 2025 9:10 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church 6435 S. Kilbourn. Chicago, IL

Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
