John L Kladis, 80, a U.S. Navy veteran, of Oak Lawn passed away peacefully February 5, 2019 surrounded by his devoted family. John was born in Chicago to the late Lambros and Kyriakoula (née Vambakas) Kladis. Beloved father of Lambros “Louie” (Angie) Kladis, Kyreakoula “Carol” (James) Hilliard, and Douglas (Wendy) Power. Cherished Papou of Corie (David) Tutor, Jessica Power, Jacob (Carter) Hilliard, Christopher Kladis, Calla Hilliard, John Kladis, Cole Hilliard, and Demetri Kladis. Great grandfather “Papou” to Braden and Desmond Tutor. Dear brother to the late Frocene (the late Nick) Pitsoulakis, the late Mary (James) Maroudas, and the late Sophia (the late Steve) Dokianos; found Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation on Friday, February 8th from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Palos Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 South Southwest Highway, Palos Hills. Trisagion service at 6:30pm. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Oak Lawn. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen Park. May his memory be eternal!
