Felix Piekarz, Jr.
Felix "Phil" Piekarz Jr., age 82, U.S. Army Veteran, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2024. He is survived by his children Kathleen (Dr. John) Elsen, Larry (Tracy) Piekarz, and Julie (Joseph) Gudeman. Grandfather of six: Kaitlyn, Jaclyn, Colin, Paige, Colton and Jaxson. Loving brother of Frank (Dorothy) Piekarz. Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Phil Piekarz will be Monday, May 6, 2024, 3:00 - 8:00 p.m.at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 Southwest Hwy, Palos Hills. The funeral will be held Tuesday, May 7, beginning with prayers at the funeral home, then proceeding to Sacred Heart Church, 8245 W. 111th St., Palos Hills, for a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass. Interment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, for a 1:00 p.m. burial.
