Dolores Vasquez

Dolores “Lola” Vasquez, aged 95 gained her wings and went to walk with angels peacefully on November 12, 2021, leaving behind a legacy of love and endless memories for her family to cherish forever. Preceded in death by husband Carl, daughter Dolores, son Richard, daughter in law Betty, grandson Miguel, granddaughter Geri, father Francisco, mother Maria, and all of her brothers and sisters. Beloved mother to Carlos, Ruby (Roger), and Edward (Patricia). Admired grandmother to Roger, Sheri (Matt), Tracy, Dawn (Jeff), Julie (David), Carmen, Carl (Carmen), Edward, Tammy (Jason), Lisa, Carla, James, Kenneth, Linda, many great grandchildren, and great great grandchild. Dolores will be greatly missed for her sense of humor, infamous potato salad, and unconditional devotion to her children, grand children, and great grandchild. As the central figure in the family, her loved ones can find comfort in her passing knowing that Dolores is now socializing, dancing, and gardening to her heart’s desire in a place where music, laughter, and love are guaranteed. Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service Friday, November 19, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home 11028 Southwest Hwy, Palos Hills, IL Interment St. Mary Cemetery
