Dolores Ryan

Dolores H. Ryan passed away surrounded by the love and joy she deserved on April 23rd, 2025. She was 84.

Dolores was the beloved wife of the late Jack Ryan, with whom she shared 50 years of marriage. She was a devoted mother to Eileen Smith (Tim) and Tim Ryan, and a proud grandmother to Emily Powers (Chris), Daniel Walkowski, and Molly Rose Walkowski, bonus grandma to Kristie and Sarah Smith, and lovingly known as “Granny” to her cherished great-granddaughters, Penelope and Margaret Powers.

She is survived by her cherished brother Wally Kupetis (Joann), and was preceded in death by her brothers Ron Kupetis (late Patricia) and Tom Kupetis (late Carol). Dolores also joins in eternal rest her dear brothers- and sisters-in-law: Eileen and John Tufo, Kathleen and Bud Casey, Virginia and Frank Horvath, and Therese and Ken Quick.

Dolores will be remembered for her energetic spirit, unwavering support, and the deep love she had for her family. She was a vibrant and caring aunt to many, always ready with encouragement, a warm smile, and a listening ear.

Her memory will forever be held in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital Hospice in Dolores’s memory.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Monday, April 28, 2025 3-8 p.m. Funeral Tuesday, April 29, 2025 8:45 a.m. prayers at Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home 11028 Southwest Hwy. Palos Hills, IL. to Our Lady of the Woods Church, mass 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Casimir Lithuanian Cemetery.
