She passed away peacefully in the early hours of Tuesday, December 6th, 2022 with her adoring daughter Joesphine and attentive caretaker Grace by her side. To her late husband of 73 years Joe Gutierrez she was known as “Kay”, to her children, Josephine Manasses, Brenda Beckman, the late Dean (Kim) Gutierrez, and Manuel Gutierrez, she was “mom” and to all her grandchildren Dora, Tina, Nicole, Joey, Nicholas, Cristin, Dean, Anthony, Erik, Manny, Veronica, Antonio, Armando, Vincent, Alex, Andrew and Adam as well as her great grandchildren Jolie, Jacqueline, Elia, Dre, Mila, Sophia, Josephine, Hunter, Anthony, Tommy, Jolene, Lia, Addie, Gabriel, and Catalina, she was “mama”.
