Born Betty Ann Blair in May of 1926. Passed January 5th, 2022 after a short bout with COVID. Mom married Harl “Bud” Jackson in April 1947. Both survived by their Children daughters Barbara A. Wilson (late Ronald), Betty A. (Richard) Laurenzi and son Charles R. Jackson. Predicated in death by mother and father Barbara (nee Blahut) and John Blair. Also siblings John, Emil (Richard) and Frederick. Survived by sister Evelyn Gleisner. Betty was blessed with 6 grandchildren Elissa Marie Roldân, Jessica DiMonte (Matthew), Amandalyn Jackson, Jamie Jackson,Ashley Rowe (Jarrett), Stephanie Dropski (Brandon); She also has 12 great grandchildren Miguel Roldân, Mercedes Roldan, Dekota Moore, Avery Edward Bleck, Dannika Michelle Bleck, Emerson Kole Bleck, Landon Roger Alvarico, Evenlyn Grace Watkins, Marilyn Ann DiMonte, Baby DiMonte, Skylar Rose Rowe and Lexie Gene Rowe; Mom worked at Wrigley's known for their famous chewing gum along with dad until he passed away in 1966 and she had to quit work to take care of the kids. She had to start working again around 1977 and worked at a printing company named Sunset which later changed its name to NuArt. There she not only worked on creating the products but did the inspection of such products for release to customers. The products she worked so hard on were business cards, matchbooks, Thank You cards etc. She worked there until her retirement age. Over the years she suffered from very bad rheumatoid arthritis in her hands, back and other joints restricting her grip, reach, walking and standing. Fell and suffered a broken hip 3 years ago from which she never truly recovered. She passed peacefully at Silver Cross Hospital where she was admitted one week prior. Although we were not able to be with her due to COVID we hope she could feel our love surrounding her. We love you. Rest in peace. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Peace Memorial Church 10300 West 131st Street Palos Park, Illinois 60464 or to be used according to the the wishes of the family.
