Angeline "Angie" Cotter

Angeline Cotter (née Messino) affectionately known as ‘Angie’, passed away on August 15, 2024 in Plano, Texas. Born on November 5, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois.

Angie led a life marked by adventure and a profound love for her family. She was known for her vibrant personality, constantly making new friends and cherishing old ones. She had a passion for travel that took her around the globe. Her family and friends will remember her for her energetic spirit and the joy she found in sharing the latest family photos, celebrating each milestone.

Angie is survived by her children, Joe (Debbie), Chris (Tony), John (Jean), Kelly (Dina).

Her cherished grandchildren Matthew (Jessica), Jason (Renee), Carly (Todd), Katie (Dan), Kevin (Erin), Rhett and Mike and her adored great-grand children Lyle, Della, Everly, Harlow, Jules, Caroline, Emerson, Crosby, James, Brady, Jack and Nora. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Cotter, her son Jimmy (James) Cotter her parents Ralph and Christine Messino and her sister Nena Messino Antonaci.

A Memorial Mass will be heard in honor of Angie at 7:30 am on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 8245 West 111th Street Palos Hills, IL. Family and friends will gather for a Memorial Visitation on Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  November 5, 2024 at Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home 11028 Southwest Hwy. Palos Hills, IL 60465 Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery
