Alfonsas Snarskis

Alfonsas Snarskis of Homer Glen, passed over on January 7, 2021. He celebrated his 91st birthday on December 24th, 2020. Immigrating from Lithuania to Germany during WW II, and then to the United States in 1951, he was proud to serve the United States Army. He was strong in spirit, a loyal husband, father, grandfather, and great-father who loved his family. He lived a long and full life. He will be missed by his entire family: his wife of 64 years, Palmyra. 2 children; Loretta and Sylvia (and husband Michael). 5 grandchildren; Aleksandra (and husband Karoly), Renata, Jonathan, Alex, and Nick. 4 great-grandchildren; Julian, Lukas, Liliana, and Tristan. He leaves this world to join his mother and father (Magdalena and Leonas), and his siblings (John, Joe, and Izolda). He leaves behind his sister Irena. His ashes will be buried pending a memorial service to be held at a later date, when Covid restrictions are somewhat eased and warmer weather allows for an outdoor gathering.
