Sister Agnese Chapkauskas

Sister Agnese Chapkauskas (Chapp), SSC, 83, beloved member of the Sisters of St. Casimir for 63 years, died June 18, 2017. Sister Agnese taught in elementary schools in Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, and Wisconsin. She assisted in the registrar’s office at Maria High School (1979-1993) and was pastoral minister at Holy Cross Hospital (1995-2011). Most recently Sister Agnese participated in the SSC ministry of prayer at the SSC Motherhouse (2011-2014) and at Franciscan Village in Lemont (2014 – 2017). Her parents, Alex and Martha Chapkauskas, sister, Anne Drungelo, and brothers, Benedict, Charles, and Felix Chapkauskas, preceded her in death. Visitation and Wake Service at Franciscan Village Chapel, 1270 Village Drive, Lemont, Saturday, June 24, 2017, 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., followed by the Mass of Resurrection at 11:15 a.m. Interment, St. Casimir Cemetery.
