Charles R. "Chuck-Charlie" Fry, died peacefully at his home in Palos Heights, IL on Sept. 2nd, due to complications from Alzheimer's at the age of 73, surrounded by his family. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Lucille "Lucy" Fry, his son Charles M. (Lourdes) Fry, his daughter and Caregiver Sharon (Mark) Glazewski, sister Gen (George) Stewart and brother Tom (Joanne) Fry. Charles was the proud and loving grandfather of Charles M. (Tara) Fry, Brittany Fry, Jami Glazewski-Caregiver, Alejandra (Mariano) Calvente, Karina (Nicholas) Furlic and John (Melanie) Bereckis. He was the proud great grandfather of Logan J. Glazewski, Charles M. (Charlie) Fry, and Lillian and Annalise Bereckis. He was also a proud uncle of many nieces and nephews. Charles is preceded in death by his parents Irene and Charlie and his sister Jean (Lee) Dunn. He was born on October 14, 1942 in Chicago, IL and served at ComEd for over 30 years before retiring. He loved his family, the Catholic Church, shooting, hunting and fishing and he will be missed by all that knew him. Visitation Wednesday 3-9 PM at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 Southwest Hwy.
