Olga Antonacci Zelus died peacefully on Monday, August 31, 2015 at her home in Peace Village in Palos Park. She was born in Toluca, Illinois to the late Nicola Antonacci and Angela Matarelli Antonacci, both of Rocca Calascio, Italy. She was baptized at St Joachim's Catholic Church in Toluca. She was married to Robert J. Zelus on May 4, 1946 at St. Clare of Montefalco Church in Chicago, and he preceded her in death on May 8,2004. She was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters Elsie Malchiodi, Nora Moore, Ella Mathys, Gene Antonacci, Robert Antonacci, Albert Antonacci, Dora Antonacci and great-granddaughter Haiden Camille Gurley. She is survived by son Paul Robert (Kathy) Zelus of Meridian, Idaho; daughters Donna Lee (Gary) Bonk of Oak Lawn and Dianna Lynn Roberson of Wilmington, Illinois; eight grandchildren: Jason and Aaron Zelus; John, Jill and Julie Bonk; and Natalie, Samantha and Keith Barlog; one great grandchild Gavin Gurley; numerous nieces and nephews; and loving caregivers Shayne and Cecelia. Throughout her life she was always proud of her family and remained a good and generous friend to many. Memorial visitation, Saturday, Sept. 26th, 9AM until time of Memorial Mass, 10AM at Our Lady of the Woods Church, 10731 W. 131st St. Orland Park, Illinois. Private burial will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Crisis Center of South Suburbia (crisisctr.org).
