Edmund S. “Hildy” Hildebranski, 85, of Palos Hills US Navy Veteran of Korean War, beloved husband of Irene (nee Konofaos) for 55 years. Loving Father of Paul (Maryann), Carol Crotty, Sandy (Dave) Huff, and the late Mark Hildebranski. Dear Papa of Eddie, Allison, Marcus, Stacey, Brett, Nicole, and Bradley. Devoted son of the late Catherine and Edmund Hildebranski and Stepson of Joseph Rychel. Dear brother of Cathy (Bill) Collins, and the late Lorraine Malik and John Hildebranski. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Hildy was a 65 year member of Carpenter’s Union Local 1185, retired salesman for Sears Roebuck for 28 years, alumnus of Weber High School (1947), and Past Commander of Catholic War Veterans at St. Casimir Parish.
