John Mayrold Johnson,age 84, US Army veteran,late of Glasgow,Kentucky; Key Colony Beach,Florida and formerly of Chicago,Illinois and Mattoon,Illinois passed away Tuesday July 24,2012 from injuries sustained in an accident. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth “Bette” Johnson. Loving father of Jay(Carmen) Johnson-Rome,Georgia and the late Jeffrey “Jeff” Johnson-Danville, Kentucky. Brother of the late Jeanne Smith. Devoted grandfather of Angel Johnson-Chattanooga,Tennessee,ChandlerJohnson-Rome,Georgia,Dana Johnson-Danville,Kentucky and the late Amy Johnson. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
