Alfred E. Kress, age 92, US Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Beloved husband of Constance (nee Yanushka). Devoted father of Russell, Gail(Philip) Pollard and Pamela(Robert) Maloney. Loving grandfather of Michelle, Steve, Brian, Bob, Elyse, Scott and great grandfather of Evelin and Audrey. Former member of Darius-Girenas American Legion Post 271 and Cardinal Mundelein Knights of Columbus Council 3024. Visitation Wednesday 3-9PM at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 S. Southwest Hwy. (7700W) Palos Hills. Funeral Thursday 9AM from the funeral home to St. Alexander Church, 7025 W. 126th St. Palos Heights, Il 60463 for 10AM Mass. Interment St. Casimir Cemetery.
