Valerie M. Chathas, nee Schmuhl, age 82, beloved wife of the late Gus Chathas for 53 years; loving and devoted mother of Charles J. (Judy), Mary Catherine (Ron) Ray, Jean Marie (John) Rickey, Cecilia Chathas, Thomas J. (Diane) and Margaret "Peggy" (Michael) Morrissey; wonderful, loving grandmother of Jennifer, Elizabeth, David, Hillary, Jessica, Michael, Kevin, Nathan, Emily, Brian, Brendan and Aidan; dearest sister of Marguerite Pietraszak and fond sister-in-law of Helen Chathas; loving aunt of 23 nieces and nephews. Valerie's passions in life were her family and attended church daily to pray for us. Graduate of St. Xavier College of Nursing, (R.N.).
